We have been growing with Montrose and the surrounding communities since we began serving our clients in 1978. We are pleased to have this opportunity to share with you who we are and what we do.

As owners, the two of us, Steve and Cindy Groskopf, began our professional careers in 1970 in the Los Angeles office of an international CPA firm after graduating from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado with Bachelors degrees in business with an emphasis in accounting.

Originally from rural areas in Nebraska, it didn't take long to realize we preferred the benefits of small town living. We discovered Montrose and relocated in 1974. It is a decision we have never regretted. Montrose has a wonderful quality of life and it's a great place to do business. So much so that in 1978 we combined our separate practices to become the thriving firm we have today. With skills that compliment each other we are able to present a broad, diverse point of view to our clients. As someone once said, "If two people agree on everything, one of them is unnecessary."

Steve also takes great pleasure in farming his 100 acre farm. Not only does this provide hours of enjoyment, but it gives Steve a personal interest in, and knowledge of, the tax deductions, credits and elections available to the agricultural community and related businesses.

We both have a wide range of experience in tax preparation, planning and accounting for a variety of professions, businesses and agricultural pursuits. We are also familiar with the various business entity forms including corporations, trusts, partnerships, LLP's, LLLP's, LLC's and sole proprietorships.

We have a well-trained staff including: Kathy Walters - Paraprofessional and Carrie Frazier - Bookkeeper.
